Bright & Airy White Oak Addition

This addition created airy comfort in rooms that once felt dark and closed off, expanding and enhancing the main living space making it a favorite place to gather and entertain. 

To achieve increased light and space on the first floor, we added a sunroom with a shiplap vaulted ceiling off the back of the house. We then installed an exquisite two-sided fireplace, shared by the sunroom and great room. Both sides of this fireplace have a beautiful surround in ledgestone and elegant architectural lines and elements. We continued this updated look and feel with the staircase, transforming the heavy wood into a delicate metal. The kitchen’s functionality was substantially improved through the addition of a beverage center, spacious island, new desk area, and built-in pantry surrounding the refrigerator. Every part of this kitchen is now maximized for storage, style, and simplicity.
