Creative Two-Story Montgomery Addition

When this family contacted us, they had two goals in mind: to have a more isolated bedroom space for their two children and to craft a home office. Not wanting to cut through their open backyard, we decided to build a first-floor bump-out with a second-floor addition built on top.

The new first-floor space is a roomy home office with beautiful French doors and a new entryway to the house, and the second-floor addition includes two bedrooms, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and a playroom where the kids can store their toys and have hours of fun. With their newfound space, this family has room to work and play uninterrupted, and their backyard still has plenty of space to run around.
