Historic Northside Kitchen Renovation
The homeowners of this historic 1905 home came to us knowing exactly what they wanted — a new kitchen that flowed with their 116-year-old house. They love to cook and entertain, and this beautiful remodeled kitchen serves them well.
Custom wood vent covers on the back of the island not only cover up and house the radiator but provide a striking focal point in the kitchen. The unique and cheerful backsplash is made of Rookwood Pottery tiles and adds a tasteful pop of color. A classy beverage station with solid wood floating shelves lets homeowners and guests grab a drink without interfering with food preparation. Situated directly next to it is a charming window seat with drawer storage. A cluster of hanging Edison bulbs looks timeless above the island, pairing with the barstools and artwork on the wall for an industrial feel.
