Opening Up A Madeira Kitchen
These homeowners contacted us to remodel their kitchen as part of an ongoing process to open up their compartmentalized home. We went to work crafting a brighter, more functional kitchen they’ll love cooking and entertaining in for years to come.
A darkly stained center island contrasts the clean white cabinetry in the rest of the kitchen, which was carefully built around each appliance. Different hardware was chosen on the upper and lower cabinets for visual interest. A large beverage area was installed on the adjacent side, wrapping around the wall and making excellent use of space. Glass cabinet doors attractively display drinkware, and a convenient wine storage rack makes it easy to pour the perfect pinot at the end of a long day.
